Misconnections

Incorrect connections are the main cause of environmental problems.
This can happen when homes and businesses make connections to the storm water system in error.  This is because all surface water will at some point discharge into rivers or streams.
All foul water waste, including washing machines, dishwashers and hand wash basins must be classed as foul, along with toilet waste, so that it discharges to the sewage treatment network.
If you have concerns regarding any discharges we can undertake a survey at your property to investigate any problems you may have.  We can also recommend and undertake solutions to any misconnections that may be found.
If you ignore misconnections  you could have legal action taken against you by the local authority or Environment Agency.
